North Muskoka – Start your day with a gourmet buffet, inspiring conversations worth having, and the chance to transform lives.

Community Living Huntsville’s 2024 Festive Brunch presented by Tall Trees Muskoka happens at the Active Living Centre in Huntsville on Sunday, December 1. Tickets are available online at bit.ly/FestiveBrunch2024 for $65 each or $520 for a table of 8.

Ashley and Randy Vowels, co-chef-owners for Tall Trees Muskoka, have unveiled the event’s newly enhanced menu, which now includes Tall Trees Signature Pulled-Beef Eggs Benedict and a Belgian Waffle Station, in addition to previous favourites, such as Tall Trees Signature Mini-Stuffed French Toast.

“You don’t want to miss it,” says Randy. “We urge everybody to get their tickets and come to this event. It sold out last year and we want to sell it out again this year. It is over half sold, so please get your tickets now!”

Community Living Huntsville supports and advocates alongside more than 300 children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, to live the lives they choose as respected, included, and contributing community members in North Muskoka.

Ashley says the decision to support the not-for-profit organization is personal for her family.

“Our son, Axel, has autism. We have very limited programming options, waitlists are incredibly long, and it’s just an underfunded sector, unfortunately, particularly locally,” she says. “We choose Community Living for this reason.”

Jennifer Jerrett, Community Engagement Specialist for Community Living Huntsville, says the event is about more than brunch – it is a step toward a community where everyone belongs.

“It takes all of us to build a disability-inclusive community,” she says. “We are beyond grateful for the incredible generosity of Ashley and Randy, who are contributing the buffet and kitchen staff for the brunch so funds raised can directly go into transforming lives.”

The event features:

  • A gourmet brunch buffet by Platinum Signature Event Partner Tall Trees Muskoka
  • Guest Speaker Madison Tevlin, a Canadian content creator, actor, model, and internationally renowned accessibility and inclusion advocate
  • A Treasure Box Key Contest ($50 per key) to win a one-of-a-kind 14k Yellow Gold Cherish Pendant with 3mm Lab-Grown Diamond on an 18-inch 14k Yellow Gold Curb Link Chain generously donated by Muskoka Jewellery Design, and
  • A silent auction filled with premiere items and experiences, including a Checkpoint ARL 4 Mountain Bike valued at $2,400 generously donated by Muskoka Bicycle Pro Shop

Community Living Huntsville thanks our 2024-2025 Signature Event Partners, including Tall Trees Muskoka, Lovegrove Construction, Muskoka Party Rentals, Stephenson District Lions Club, Dan Willett Financial, and Refined Kitchen and Bath, for helping make this event possible.

Funds raised will support Community Living Huntsville’s affordable housing initiatives for people with developmental disabilities and families who access its services.

Ticket sales end Thursday, November 21.
